Sweeping Tips

So here are just a few tips for those who are new sweepers & these are things that I do:

• Stay Positive!- Even if you've never won anything, don't focus on it! Just think about how excited you WILL be when you win something. Big or small, EVERY win COUNTS!
• Keep a Running List of Your Wins- I keep an excel spreadsheet to keep tabs on all my wins. Here's where I got it from:  Sweetie Sweeps: Free Spreadsheet. (If you want to see my wins, click here.)
• Consistancy is Key- Entering sweeps everyday does increase your odds of winning. It may be a hassle, but it pays off. I think my first win was within a week of when I started taking sweeping seriously.
• CHECK YOUR EMAIL- Check your email, facebook, & twitter DAILY. I can't stress this enough because you could very well miss out on prizes if you don't respond in time. I missed out on a laptop & $700 gift card before because of my negligence.
• Avoid Scams- If they require you to complete 'offers' before you can enter or to receive it, just avoid it.
• Read Before You Enter- I basically skim through the rules because you need to know the age requirement, how often you can enter, what you could win, & how they will notify the winners.
• Use Autofill- I personally just use Google Chrome's auto fill system, but I know there is other programs you can use as well. Ex. roboform, etc. 
• Find a Sweepstakes Site- It's easier & more convenient to just use a site that lists new sweepstakes for you to enter in. Here is my top 3 favorite sites to use:

1. Sweeties Sweeps My favorite site that I use daily. You can make a list of your favorite sweeps & it'll be there everyday you come back!
2. http://www.sweepsadvantage.com/ I use this site mainly for finding twitter & pinterest sweeps.
3. http://www.sweepstakestoday.com/ Another good site that I don't use as  often.
4. http://www.online-sweepstakes.com/ They have a lot of good blog sweepstakes posted.

• Get Local- Check out your local radio stations, & tv stations websites. They'r bound to have a good prize up for grabs, plus you'll have better odds of winning!
